Operations Coordinator – Marine Personnel

Summary

The Operations Coordinator – Marine Personnel works with the Operations department to ensure the fleet is staffed with properly qualified mariners per the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and United States Coast Guard (USCG) regulations. In addition to coordinating marine personnel, the role is also responsible for other marine personnel related administrative tasks.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work in team environment to ensure fleet is properly staffed
  • Coordinate additional marine personnel requirements as needed such as shipyards periods, new build sea trials, etc.
  • Develop and maintain marine personnel databases
  • Assist Crewing Manager in proactively identifying marine personnel needs
  • Maintain a good working relationship with maritime unions
  • Collect and analyze marine personnel related metrics
  • Complete additional tasks as directed by the Crewing Manager
  • Supports the vessel operations department as needed
  • Occasional travel

Education, Training & Experience

  • This position requires a college degree.
  • Marine Personnel experience is required.
  • The ability to quickly learn the business of the company and adapt to its procedures is essential.

Annual Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000
